Hello, long story short...getting married in Lingayen next month, passport says Alex Mitchell, birth certificate says Alexis Nicholas Mitchell. Changed by deed poll in 1995. Lost original document. Ordered new on from UK deed poll services and had document state date of original name change. Got it certified by solicitor in UK as legal document. Also sent scanned copies of deed poll to British Embassy, Manila.

No. You are not asked to provide a Birth Cert to get married in the Philippines ref my case.  My Birth Cert was lost some years ago, I got married in 2014 with my passport and CNI and can't think what else, but had to have a valid visa and be in the Philippines 10 days, I think it was.

just thought this would be a good thing to look at as each and every City seems to have it's own Rules but this is an RA statement on Requirements.

We were married in Cebu City back in 2009 and I had to have a certified copy of my birth certificate .... as Jack says EVERY city is different and goes by it's own rules and regs .... no such thing as continuity .... JMHO ....

OK well I have certified copy of birth certificate. All my documents, passport, I.d card, HMRC letters, payslips, character reference and bank statements show my current name as Alex Mitchell as does my CNI. The registry office here accepted my name as Alex Mitchell.
