thinking he may want them for the scrap metal value.  Nope, stolen by others long before the trash man got there.

What sort of bikes are these?

In my case a Honda TMX 125 and that is the one they use for Hubble Hubble and some trikes.

Even trash.  When I moved last time I left a few broken items for the trash man, thinking he may want them for the scrap metal value.  Nope, stolen by others long before the trash man got there.

I put out a broken pair of sandals and a broken weathered 2 by 3 ft piece of plywood and they was gone before the garbage truck came. My MIL has lost a pair of ear rings and a necklace, both gold, but we don't know if she really lost them, misplaced them or if someone conned them from her.

We had an old plastic washing bowl stolen from the walled front garden when it was accidentally left out over night. I also had a razor go missing when we had guests overnight.

I wonder if a more unusual model would be less likely to be stolen.

Do you honestly think that would stop them?

It would stand out. Thieves like things easy.
