That is why I am also nervous around these guys and their guns.  I try to keep my kids far away.

That must have been horrible to see. These short barreled shotguns are really not the weapon of choice when dealing with criminals. Police officers are highly trained and carry pistols for good reason!

Agreed, short barrel shotguns are also preferred by criminals, as it is hard to match ballistics to specific firearms. 

Carry Condition training should be imperative to anyone carrying a firearm.
