Yes I thought that, a quick search led me to 5 generations to get anywhere near 100 % Blood but other reports says it could be as much as  50. in your own country.

 Had the OP just had said Spanish Descent I would have accepted that with a smile but moved on, Sweeping Statements are Fodder for my Thought process to look into things

OK, seriously just who are these "lots of people" telling you your children will be abducted and worst?  I've never ever heard once case of a foreigner child abducted unless by a parent in a custodial dispute. If the parent is Filipino they have all the rights the Foreigner parent has none.

I have just got back from a 5 week holiday in PH, We happened to buy a new van , a Toyota HiAce, when we went out to the farm at Del Pilar which is way out in the country at the end of a dead road outside San Mariano. As we drove this rough road we saw some kids who looked terrified when they saw us pull up in a white van, they were truly frightened we were the van that kidnaps children for body parts, this does happen out in the country and they told me that now they have changed the van they use to a different colour so they catch the kids before they know what's going on. I was so horrified & shocked that this really does go on out there where it is a bit like the "Wild West"

I seriously doubt this is a regular occurrence and may just be one of those stories told to kids to stop them going away with strangers.

Cheer up!  Things could always be much worse... In my case, I was mistakenly identified (by the locals) as being an 'Englishman' on more than one occassion.
