Where to live in Batangas ?

Thanks for all your feedback, I will be doing some more research by the looks of things.   I'm hoping to have a small bit of land wherever I end up,  enough to grow a few green veggies.  I don't know if it's just Manila area but I've always found the veg selection pretty poor and the prices strangely high.  Broccoli as an example is twice the price as it is here in Dubai, and food shopping isn't exactly cheap here...

Broccoli and other colder temperature veggies are mostly from Baguio and other mountainous areas so they fetch a premium price.
