While staying in Manila I had the pleasure of visiting the place it really is attractive and cultural.

Would recommend it for a day trip or now knowing there are lodges available, also great place to stay

I checked out their website. This property would be interesting to visit next time we are in the Philippines.  The published rates are a bit high, but I suppose you can negotiate a 25% to 50% discount by contacting the property directly.

they have group rates and senior discounts , but i wouldnt count on just calling them up and asking for 50% off an already easy on the wallet price. try it though and let us know how it goes. anything is possible .

Hi lobojohn,

Thanks for the information. As the saying goes, "The worst that can happen is their saying, No."

EXACTLY.. its all worth a try.. you never no until you try. we learn from our wives (at least i did) here to always ask for a discount no matter where you are or what it is.. then whip out your trusty senior discount card try to get even more. :)  everything is nego as they say here.
