American arrested for drugs in Dumaguete

Subject to Search Warrant (SW) on illegal drugs by the members of the Drug operatives PDEA, PDEU and PNP PIB-SOG, the subject is a US National identified as one JAMES THOMAS HUBERT 47 around 6:10am of April 24, 2018

The suspect is temporarily residing in Piñero Subdivision Mangnao Dumaguete City.

With the current crackdown on drugs, one would think that using or selling drugs here in the Philippines wouldn't be a good idea.

Hope they jail him in Fil would just get a fine and probation here.

Off topic rant; In the city of Seattle open dealing and possession of small quantities of narcotics is acceptable. In fact police are instructed not to issue citations and if they do will may face disciplinary charges. The city will soon open a free injection center. A trained health professional will assist intravenous users.

Like Oldutot pointed out the city is overran with drug users from all over the US, Canada and Mexico. Cheap drugs free food and a hard leftist government who spent 60+ million tax dollars on "the homeless problem". 2018 spending may go over 120 million. One communist city counsel member wants to assess a head tax on large businesses in King county to help "share" because of their "inequality". Punish working people who pay taxes and destroy their jobs.

SHOOTING AT NOPH EXIT GATE

Shooting Incident at Real Street, Fronting Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

at about 9:00 PM of July 29, 2017 wherein the victim DARWIN CABETINGAN Y BONGCASAN, 42 years old, married, male, food vendor selling street foods and a resident of Brgy Cadawinonan, Dumaguete City, Neg Or.

the victim Sustained: one (1) gunshot wound on the head and three (3) gunshot wounds gunshot wounds on the stomach) was shot by Two (2) unidentified male person wearing bonnet and jacket color dirty white with hood, riding motorcycle without plate number.

Facts: A telephone call received by this office informing a shooting incident transpired at said place, immediately elements of this station led by SPO4 Robert Elnas responded.

Initial investigation conducted that two (2) men went to a stall outside the gate. Suddenly, two (2) other unidentified men who were riding on a motorcycle arrived and shot the victim four (4) times, and then fled off to the north direction.

After the incident, victim was immediately brought to Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital for Medical treatment, however, he was pronounced dead by the attending physician Dr. Erwin Jay Nerves at around 9:50 PM of same date.

Further alleged by the wife of the victim disclosed that victim was arrested for Violation of R.A. 9165 and it was released after a bail has been paid.

Evidence recovered: Four (4) empty shells for Caliber 45 pistol and one (1) unit Samsung cellular phone.

Actually the FB pages that cover Dumaguete treats all those that involved in illegal activity the same. If you get caught it's reported no matter who you may be.

  help is free and easily given in the States  if a person is dumb enough to use in Asia.....well you can't fix stupid
