davewe Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 I have been asked a couple times by the airlines for a forward ticket and more often have not been asked. But because I do not want to get stuck and unable to fly I generally buy one of those $12 "rental tickets" just in case.
AlwaysRt Posted July 14, 2018 Posted July 14, 2018 If you are entering with your wife an onward ticket is not required and I do not get one. I have heard of problems with ticket agents not knowing the rules and not having the time to stand there and argue with them or their supervisor. My backup plan in that case would be to take a minute on Expedia.com, buy a ticket to shut them up, then cancel it for a full refund at the gate 5 minutes later.
