BAGUIO CITY – A retired United States Air Force man was found dead from fatal blows to the head at his home here on Tuesday (July 17), according to the Cordillera police.

Miriam Bautista, a household helper, found the body of her employer Emelito Nalapo at 6:30 a.m. in his residence at Barangay (village) Pinsao Proper.

Nalapo may have been attacked at 1 a.m., and had died from “intracranial hemorrhage” which he suffered due to multiple hack wounds on his head, according to forensic investigators. . .

Hmm.... the comments on the story assume he was an american. But his name sounds like a filipino name. Perhaps he was a fil-am or naturalized american filipino.

I think the papers came out after he posted that.

There is the perception in the Philippines that due to lazy policing murders are often put down as suicide even when it seem obviously not to be the case.

Oh OK, he was joking. In that case, Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! As a former police officer and undercover detective, it appears that the police here are irrelevant with so many guys standing around with 12-gauge shotguns. Not the weapon of choice, but I imagine they are just for show and do not even work. Thank you for reading.
