My girlfriend got barred from my condo building

Recommended Posts

Well not exactly.

Yesterday she finished work just after 6 and as she entered the lobby the guard stopped her. Mam you are no longer allowed to enter the building. She looked at him and said WTF? He says we have a letter from Sir to say we are not to let you in. My GF thinks for a second like why has Tom done this to me? The guard hands the letter to her and she reads it. Who the hell is John she asked, oh says the guard. Your in unit xx20? No we are in xx20. Oh sorry mam, I thought you were her because you looked like her. So your with Sir Tom? Yes, how do you know my boyfriend? I know Sir Tom mam, he been here a long time.

:mocking:

I wish all the guards were that efficient.  I remember a time . . . well I'll tell you over a beer if I haven't already :hystery:

My run in with securiy was slighly more embarrasing. As I entered a hotel with my partner the guard asked to keep her ID. When my partner asked why he asked for that I pointed out if a foreigner enters a lot of hotels in Manila with a pretty female they think she's a bar girl. Talk about lighting a fuse.

Same thing with me, was at a wedding in the peninsula Hotel in Manila, I'm in a tux, she was in brides maid dress, we went to lift, security came running demanding her ID, after a few #@(s and &&<Ards, they let us through, but no apology

If it was my mrs there wouldn't be enough room for the shotgun, not with his head already up there.

So your with Sir Tom?

My son loved the way you are addressed in the Philippines.  In his case it was, "Sir Jeff."  He considers it respectful, but informal.
