redfeather Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 I wanted to go fishing for a day while I am in the Phils. I am coming to visit my girlfriend. Has anybody fished around Subic Bay? I thought it might be cool to hire one of those hollowed out wooden boats to take you out fishing. I like to go native when I visit places, and try to avoid American ways as much as possible. As far as anyone knows so far there are no formal charter fishing boats in Philippines. I would think many small fishmen would be pleased to take you out (for a price) and allow you to join them in their traditional fishing methods.
