The time between 13A application and physical receipt of the ACR card was very stressful. I simpatico whenever these posts pop up. The process is engineered for uncertainty.

As a side bonus, for me, it came with a den of thieves offering every imaginable excuse to charge extra fees. The last attempt when the card finally arrived- six hour wait to stamp the passport or magically P3K would allow them to stamp it on the spot.

I can imagine it could be stressful but this topic has nothing to do with that as it's about a simple tourist who has been here 4 months.

When I have left as a tourist I have never been asked for my card.If you are that worried as Dave h says get somebody to pick it up for you and send it by courier.

As a tourist with less than 6 months I was never asked for an ACR. Sometimes I had one, sometimes I did not.

After the 6 month period I have had to show the ACR at BI to get my ECC, but no one at the airport ever asked for my ACR, just the ECC.  Your mileage may vary.

I just went to the BI HQ and asked at the information counter. The woman said the same thing as you guys: i dont need the card as long as my stay is less then 6 months. I hope the airport BI will agree.

I will report back in a few weeks.
