Utter crap, and an insult to any 'justice' system. Agree. Under the legal system, one day the girl is a protected minor. The next day is her 18th birthday and she is free to do whatever. What happened to maturity as a factor in decision making? Then the age, for example drinking, was changed to 21 years. What happened? Is it just government trying to control our lives?. I had a good laugh when the federal government threatened large retail chains like Walmart huge fines for selling liquor and cigarettes to minors.
