Park and ride might help.If they had big cheap car parks on the outskirts and buses to take the people into the city that would help.If the planners went abroad and saw how other countries plan their city centers maybe that would help.

Somewhere, way back in time, there was a law that restricted you from owning a vehicle without a parking place. Must have got kicked out. :thumbsup:

With all the laws they have on the books that they don't enforce. I don't think they will add another law that won't be enforced here in Dumaguete.

They have been saying that they may concentrate on the causes of the crash rather than wether a helmet was worn or not.So Dumaguete may be bucking the trend.Lets be fair they have no practical training (compulsory) here so in reality what good is a helmet if you cant drive properly anyway.

A helmet gives them a better chance to survive and go on to have additional accidents. :whistling:
