Foreigner Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 I'm not really sure if I'm breaking any rules or laws... oh well, this is the Philippines and so many rules and laws are always being broken over here anyway, ha ha, but I always give a 50 piso note to the same PHILPOST man for over 3 years whenever he delivers my mail from the USA. Maybe it's a coincidence? (or maybe it's not?), but I always receive all of my mail from the USA.

Problem is, if you are not around one time and whoever gets the mail doesn't give the "tip" you may not get the mail so regularly in future. This has happened several times over the years, but he consistently comes back the very next day with my mail in one hand and an open palm extended with his other hand.
Mick Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 (edited) The security in NNIA have "No Tipping" on the back of there t-shirts. And I noticed in Taiwan each passport desk has a sign "no tipping".. on it... Edited December 21, 2018 by Mick

It makes no sense to me t.b.h. Lighten up. We are not throwing our money around. We just know that the people we tip appreciate a little extra income to augment their low paying jobs. It makes me feel good when I can give a little help.
