I could live in the Philippines for 50 years, but that is never going to make me a Filipino. I heard somewhere that England colonized Australia with a bunch of prisoners that they wanted to get rid of. Don't know if it's true or not but that would explain why Aussies continue to drive on the incorrect side of the road.
