stevewool Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 We are planning a long term visit to the Philippines and are looking at travel insurance, now I know you pay for what you get ,but I hate wasting my hard earned money on what ifs , but I do know I need some sort of cover. The best I can get is for 1 years travel insurance for the both of us and that would give us unlimited medical cover plus we could be away from England upto 90 days at a time , so our first trip will be for around 3 months and the cost would be £115, to me that’s a great price. But what happens if I want to stay longer, backpackers can cover me for 4 months but the price goes up to over £550 again for the 2 of us. I have tried looking but I cannot seem to get past the 90 days away each time, what do other members do to cover this if you are wanting to be away for upto 6 months . Or how much!
