I am not sure which of the folks in Valencia are affected by this one, but even Steve @AlwaysRt will get "browned off"  with this much outage.  Hope it misses my place

We had a week out whilst they did some work on the main line, miserable time because it rained that week and everywhere way damp.

They've just informed the Puerto Galera area that there will be a brown out from 8am to 5pm this Saturday and Sunday.  One of the busiest weekends of the year for tourists.

I expect that most large business, hospitals, etc will have generators but I wonder if they will be able to get sufficient fuel to run them for five days?

Many years ago when l ran a charcoal chicken shop my business neighbors got a notice of power outage for one Sunday, Sunday our busiest day. Anyway l inquired as why l had no notice but was assured my power will remain on.

Sunday came and 36 chickens on the rotisserie came to a halt and lights out.

Panic as they catch fire. Anyway l knew where the work was going on and went there to tell them my problem. My BIL was working there and a supervisor who knew exactly why. My connection was on the wrong side of the pole with the breaker.

Very quickly they were there to switch the wiring so all was good.

Just up the road you say Kevin
