It was not the cheapest place to stay, but the place, experience and service were some of the best we have ever experienced.

Good point, Jack... well taken.. But sometimes that grain of truth is difficult or impossible to find?

Which brings us back to JGF's original point... hmmm... is our vinegar here real? My God... makes me want to import some Washington State apples (hope they are not fake) and let them ferment, make my own vinegar!

stayed for just one night at The Wilson's Shangrila.

I know for a fact that if you go to the real Shangrila website here

https://www.shangri-la.com/

You won't find Wilson's.  Another fake. :hystery:  But the truth is:  There is no truth in names or advertising in Philippines.  I doubt the Heinz white vinegar is the real thing.  It just doesn't taste like Heinz

Thanks for the info, Dave. I can't vouch for the website, but I can vouch for Wilson's Shangrila as a hotel. I don't know what might be going on online, but that resort/hotel was absolutely wonderful. But that was over a year ago, so maybe something has happened since?
