Maybe the cheapest way to deal with it is to give a way free "people" bags? You know... like the doggy bags given away in some areas in USA and other places for disposal of doggy poos? Of course, then there is the teaching of people how to use them... disposal of the "used" bags.... Okay.... never mind...:bonk:

How long does it take to dig up a bucket full of sand and reopen a beach. Surely there's not much more to the clean up?

Cleanup was 30 seconds.  Contacting news outlets, putting up barricades, checking with the president, posing for photo ops, giving interviews , etc took a little extra time.

I decided to ask my asawa about this.  Have you read it, what do you think, why such a huge deal?  Her response:

"Filipinos would never bury a diaper on Boracay beach (pause) and Filipinos don't like Chinese".  I think the information after the pause is the biggest factor to consider in why this is making headlines.

My wife wondered aloud as we were watching the news about this:

Why didn't someone either stop here or at least make her pick it up and throw it away?

I responded, 1, no one saw her, or 2. Filipinos in authority are either reluctant or to lazy to exercise authority.

I vote for number 2. how many times do we see each day flagrant breaking of the law right in front of PNP, traffic enforcers and Barangay Patrols
