Sounds more like a wind up to me.... Or too far up your own arse....

No wind up buddy and far from up my own arse. Oh you mean somebody else, sorry for any misunderstanding.

I was being a little cynical about just how much I do, do, while my wife is out at work, we don't all have the privileges that being a professional allows, but I can see just how much certain people enjoy being treated a bit like Royalty. :tiphat: Each to their own.

But, as I have said in other threads... this does not mean ALL men or ALL wives.

Back to OP by the Blue fish lover.............Does anybody really believe the Philippines is the place for this professional couple to make their home?......I  can think of other places more suitable,

As a member of the Davao Durian Appreciation Society, I think not. :mocking:

 Just the vibes I'm getting.

The short answer is no, at least in my experience.  But, that being said, let's look at your definition of this female expat you desire to meet.  I assume you are using yourself as the measure (mature, successful, professional, MD and/or PHD, perhaps both)?   I have met only a single expat that I recall has a PHD, he is Chinese and lived in Singapore until he moved to the Philippines.   You will find very few, if any, expats that meet that definition.  And that includes males, not just females.  If you and your partner move here, you should to be comfortable with your own company, or be prepared to make friends with your mature, successful, professional, neighbors who in all likelihood would be Filipino.  As an earlier poster mentioned, it would be very unusual for the couples you describe to retire to the Philippines.   Just my opinion of course.

Unusual and a non event Mike I feel, Until there is pay parity and reciprocal agreements and/or a change to the Constitution, Professionals are just not going to work here for the salaries offered even if they could get a job in their Field which, as we know is very Limited to say the least IMHO
