We just bought a ladder from ace hardware it folds in four giving an 8 foot step or 16 foot ladder or a 4 foot high 8 foot long trestle. we paid about 3.5k for it.

Although I found these a little stiff to open initially now they are wonderful, such a space saver to.

Very classy, practical and nice house, Jim!

Was the dog part of the deal?

Just a roof deck with a roof over it, we had a great view of the sea till some trees and bamboo grew and blocked the view.

I go up there at night with a drink and stargaze, chilling out.

This was something I was looking at if the flat roof is not working for us, no view of the sea but hills/ mountains in the distance for now.
