Why did the snake cross the road?

He didn't.  This was a few minutes ago on the road up to our house.

I’m guessing Philippine cobra, Deadly. One was just killed next door to us. It was a pale green.

I had one in my house same colour as that, not as big though. My dogs were going ballistic, luckily I had a golf club handy had to kill it before it went under the furniture.

Not a cobra, could be a pit viper.

One of my Filipino neighbors, who has lived here since the Navy days, saw the pic and said "Nice Cobra!".  I really have no idea.

Could be a Cobra, difficult to see the head properly.

I am no expert, but looking at pictures it definitely look more like a Philippine Cobra than an Philippine Pitviper to me.
