Not sure, I don't think they are welded too thin. Seen them on youtube.

There's no need for it to be waterproof, It's under a roof so it will be 100% sheltered from the rain. My rooftop has got a roof over it, and overhangs 1.5 meters.

Had the rebar cut off the side of the house today , to say it was interesting would be a understatement, in the end I had to intervene and go and tie a rope around this lad and hold it really tight just in case he slipped , but as soon as the camera was pointing I had to let go and wave or thumbs up.
