Well this is my first Christmas Day here in the Philippines and what’s for dinner, could it be turkey ,new potatoes , roasted potatoes,Brussels sprouts, Yorkshire pudding , roasted parsnips, roasted carrots and thick gravy . No

It’s going to be chicken Caldereta with my carrots and potatoes chucked in, it’s rice and more rice followed by sticky rice thingy me bob , then I have a choice of BBQ lumps of fat, I think I shall give that one a miss,

Our son is visiting us for Christmas and has brought five of his university pals. We had Christmas pudding and custard last night. Today is a christening so Filipino buffet.
