These are also considered OPV, Offshore Patrol Vehicle.  I think two are based in Subic.  The problem is, they always seem to be at the dock every time I take pictures of that dock area.  They don't seem to patrol much.

Cost of fuel may be a consideration...? If so, that is a shame. I think, for the Philippines, they need many, many small ships to patrol for terrorists, errant fishermen, traffickers, etc...
