A traditional "Sunday Roast".......hence Chicken, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower sage n onioin stuffing and Yorkshire Puddings with gravy poured over it. other dinners contain Beef, Lamb or Pork. Takes a while to cook it all, five minutes to eat and 15 minutes to do the washing up! The photograph is showing a Chicken roast dinner, but there is alternatives such as Beef, Pork or Lamb or if you are greedy and don't bother to cook , go to a Carvery and have all four choices of meat on the same plate! ( there are lots of people who do just that) at around £12;99p upwards in UK. Look up Toby Inns UK. Edited January 19, 2020 by Kuya John
bob1965 Posted January 19, 2020 Posted January 19, 2020 The pic does remind me of being younger. That was Sunday dinner. Only one type of potato though. And I bet my mother made her Brussel sprouts more “tender” than those.
