Jollygoodfellow Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Here in the IT Park Cebu they have been trucking in water for a year. Often they dont turn up at the restaurants in the garden block so they have to find bottled water. The condo and call center buildings pump up the water to storage tanks from the tankers. Don't know why there is always a shortage of water.
hk blues Posted January 25, 2020 Posted January 25, 2020 In my area at least I think it's all down to supply and demand. The supply remains constant but the demand varies. Example - weekends are worst and that is when everyone does their washing etc - yesterday we had an all-day brownout and the water was great - nobody doing washing etc as no power and we all went shopping etc. In a country with so much rain it's hard to imagine why water is at a premium. Well, actually, not hard at all!
