Due to price?

Only one plane change to Sweden, so I guess due to convenience.  The other plus was it didn't layover in any Asian airport, I'd just as soon avoid HK right now.

Normally $7-800 from Manila to London, probably a little less to Frankfurt. You tried Skyscanner?

I will try skyscanner.  I'm not really interested in London this time.

The silk road is a good route if you can get some decent horses :whistling:

This is looking good!

Clark-Doha-Frankfurt on Qatar for 873 adult, 708 for 2 kids, total 4035 RT.  I kinda like the times too, depending.  On the way, get in at 23:35 and then 8 hour layover.  This would be fine if I can get a room for us to crash.  I will see if they have a transit hotel.  Nice aircraft too.  B787-8 and A380-800.

On Skyscanner, the cheapest flights come up with A.  two airlines, often with very  short conx time.  Risky.  Or B.  Transit over China and/or China Eastern Airline.  Not really interested in those types.

We have flown Qatar several times, definitely one of our favourites.

Agree. Qatar are good... and the airport at Doha is easy to negotiate too (not vast like Dubai).

Landed in Istanbul a short time ago.  Turkish Air 777 was very comfy, food excellent, airport amazing.  Almost no one wearing masks here haha.

I hope you come here for skiing up North, otherwise Sweden is not a fun place this time of the year.
