What is everyone's take on Fosters?  I tried it for the first time recently, and just couldn't get into it.  Thought they would get better after having a few, but nope.  I always imagined it would be really awesome.

I used to drink quite a bit of Foster's.  The oil cans.  Really ice cold in a chilled glass.  I like.

I have some Foster's Strong here.  Don't care for it much so it has been taking up room in the frig for quite a while.

Noone in Australia has really drunk Foster's since the 70's.  There's a reason we export it.  It's not terrible but only if there's nothing else to drink.  It is brewed in any given country that it's sold in so the taste does vary a little depending on location.

Thanks for the tip Brett, I will keep it in mind.

I don't like strong beers either, SML or SMP for me.

Red-Horse always makes me vomit and gives me a headache. :9436:

Rolling Rock beer from Wisconsin is not so good. And I hate Miller's High Life (more like Low Life).

Give me a Pschorr Brau anytime. But SM Light is my usual with Red Horse as a back up. I see Budweiser at S & R but will never touch the stuff...

Oh Tommy thats a punch in the gut.  Rolling Rock is my favorite...at least it was when I could still find the stuff, and that's been about 20 years I guess.  Used to be brewed in Pennsylvania, so I probably don't know what it tastes like now.

Sorry Marvin... and you are right, of course, it was brewed in Penn... I had it in college in the midwest and hated it. But I think Miller Low Life was worse. My Dad loved it because it was cheap. As a student I much preferred PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon for those not from there) or Old Style...

I enjoy the taste of some craft IPA's but can only drink one or two. Too darn strong for me.

We all have different tastes...My first preference for sure is SM Super dry, followed by Pilsen and Tiger.

Recently been drink Zero as its just 3% alcohol and the taste is OK, nothing special.

First beer 5.30pm Most nights but one day a week off.

I'm the same mate, I like some of them but sometimes there's just too much going on.  Keep is simple I reckon.

I've never gotten around to trying SM Super Dry for some reason, might have to give it a shot.

Speaking as an Australian we export Fosters... so we don't have to drink it :hystery:
