The economy is a circle and the inputs from pensioner's pension will be circled back into the economy. Take that 180 million out and that's a hit to the overall economy. 2nd reason, and perhaps the most important - how will they be able to ring-fence the oldies to ensure only they catch the virus and die and not pass it on to huge numbers of younger people? 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
