Glad I went with a financial adviser in 2018 who designed my IRA to hedge against things like this. At this moment I am only down a bit over 4% since Feb 19. I'm down 5.5%. Not bad. I'm not selling any of my main funds. With this volatility, I will attempt a day trade or two, just for fun, if I think the time is right. I might just keep buying and selling this same one. It moves identically to DJI. Oil is whacked! Hopefully gas prices follow and give most people some relief in that area.

Yeah, the market signals are all adding up to project a major recession except for toilet paper of course, that is a booming market.

Forum Support Mike J Posted March 9, 2020 Forum Support Posted March 9, 2020 Does the corona virus cause massive Massive MASSIVE diarrhea? Is that why there is panic buying of toilet paper?

Taking a shot at one side or the other is not going to make anything better. Let's hope the virus passes quickly with fewer deaths. Good news is perhaps it's time to buy? I dumped most of my Boeing stock some time back so missed it's crash. I will not buy BA for awhile... there is more bad news coming.
