TheMason Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Although I hate the OFW system and think it exploits people, this will give more Filipinas an opportunity to better their lives. I think the EU countries will do a far better job of policing abuse of immigrant workers than Arab or Asian countries do. I don't see how au pairs in Norway will lead to mail order brides or prostitution any more than maids or caregivers in other parts of the world. I don't see what the big deal is about this story.
