graham59 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 13 December 2020 PRESS RELEASE BI nabs US pedophile in Cebu CEBU, Philippines —The Bureau of Immigration (BI) announced the arrest of an alleged American pedophile wanted for sex crime in the US. BI Commissioner Jaime Morente identified the alien as Donald Robert Tyler, 57, who was arrested Thursday at his residence in Bgy. San Roque, Ginatilan, Cebu by joint operatives of the bureau’s fugitive search unit (FSU) and National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The arresting agents were reportedly armed with a mission order which Morente issued at the request of American authorities in Manila. A report from BI FSU Chief Bobby Raquepo stated that Tyler is subject of an arrest warrant issued by a circuit Court in Josephine County, Oregon on November 4 last year. He was allegedly charged before the said court with the crime of sodomy in the first degree. The BI said Tyler is a retiree in the Philippines, but is already considered an undocumented alien due to the cancellation of his passport by the State Department. He will be temporarily detained at the BI warden facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City pending his deportation. “He will be placed in our blacklist and banned from re-entering the Philippines for being an undesirable alien,” Morente stated. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My question was to the OP, as he had highlighted 'alleged' and i was wondering if he thought their was something wrong with the charges issued by a American court.
