Yes... it looks more 'alpha tester' than 'beta tester.  Beta testing is normally the term used when the design is finalized and they're just trying to get the bugs out of it.  Those look... unfinished (to put it kindly).

I think Star link said they need like 14000 satellites before speeds of 250 MBPS can be achieved worldwide so I reckon another year or 2 before I throw away my next to useless Globe dongle!

Yes, you must buy the dish and box it's a monthly subscription. I would guess there would be a licensing agreement for each country in order for them to tax the service?

This was what we were quoted not including taxes.
