Looking forward to better days

Last night my wife suddenly announced that next trip to Philippines we should visit Aloguinsan- Cebu

Anybody been there?  It looks beautiful with nice beaches.

Always good to hear from someone who has visited and can recommend a place.

Keep smiling :tiphat:

Looks nice but all the photos appear to be of a single river & beach?  Makes me wonder how crowded it would be once things open up again.?  It is not to far from @Queenie O., perhaps she might have some input.

I have driven by there many times on my way up and down the west coast of Cebu Island.  I never saw anything that appealed to me but a recently deceased fellow expat loved the place.  He used to tell me how all the girls loved him there.  He was one of the cheapest expats I have known so I strongly suspect you will find many cheap, native style accomodations.  You may have heard the name "Whippy" but his real name was Crad.

No Mike--we live in Tabogon in northern Cebu. I'm not familiar with many places in the south and west. I have been to Moalboal once but a long time ago. Very nice..

:tiphat: Morning Dave

Cheap n Cheerful, so long as it's clean and functional it will do me.

But for those who are willing to pay silly prices, you can have a Bamboo  hut on stilts in water, been there done that.
