I'm trying to word this respectfully.  His opening post is very, very strange.  Seems to indicate someone in need of help.

Absolutely Old, he has a unique way of writing, not withstanding red horse would be my guess in this case.

Some of his research on buying Chinese motorcycles was quite extraordinary. kinda bought a new way to the word research, but he sure knows his way around a computer.

I have no skin in the game but the OP read like one of those 'articles' we've all read where as many buzz words as possible are included to get clicks - looked like SEO to me. I know it wasn't but that's how it looked.

Yes.

And to elaborate, no one named Woody had anything to do with it.  It was ALL David.  His wife was a rep for the scammers and David led me by the hand (with the money in it) like a sheep to be sheared.  Yes, I was stupid.  Yes, David scammed me when he already KNEW that ship was sinking and yes, there are other groups like the Cebu HHH who will not even allow him to join them.  You, sir have chosen a dark horse to befriend.  I hope he has learned from his experience but if I know anything about him at all then I know he will be saying "not my fault" and convincing others of his victimization.  See this following old thread for more info:

EDIT:   IN ADDITION, if that sack of shit wants to lie to you and convince you he is the victim, pick any of the emails in this list (from David Whittal to me in 2008 and 2009) and we can discuss it.  But only if you are on the fence about it.  If he has already convinced you, as he convinced so many others, then I fear it is no use trying to get you to see the light.

Sorry Dave with due respect I pertain the right to disbelieve you. My experience with this family lasted for a number of years, I judge people from my experience not from hear say.

I fully understand.  David Whittal managed to profit from a ponzi scheme PRECISELY because he is easy to like and Sha Sha backed him up to the hilt.  Even his daughter attended our meetings and was pleasant.  A wonderful family that probably started out with the best of intentions, but when they realized they were going to lose all their money they reached out to drown a few others in order to grab the kick-backs and keep their own necks above water.

Just be sure to understand the difference between hear say and someone offering to provide written correspondence that would stand up in court if it was pushed and the time limits had not run out.  In addition, if you read the old thread I posted it was not just me saying these things.

And now that's enough from me.

I know where you are coming from Dave, con artists are only good if they are likeable, many play the long game and I'm finding the retired ones with no other means of making money are the worst.

Sorry to go off subject but I met a few whilst looking to purchase property on Boracay, lovely folk with nice families and many friends. Fast forward a few years and I'm seeing the ones that got burned and seeing all the evidence. Families that have lived here for ten plus years and active members of the community finding unsuspecting buyers, getting the money and leaving the island ASAP, next thing the properties are being declared illegal builds and ordered to be demolished. So many knew what was happening but no one said a thing to warn the new buyers off as the sellers were " nice people" and good friends.

Pointless being a conman/woman if your 'victims' are able to detect you as being such.  :tiphat:

No idea who this scumbag /scambag is but had an interesting time googling Petrea and all the scams reported on an old Cebu expat website.  Seems there are liars and cheats in every community, and this fatso seems to be a good example, whatever his real name is.

Anyways he was right about the rain in HK on handover day although that rain didnt start till about 5pm. I was there.

And there was an excellent Mexican restaurant in Times Square too.

Ask him about the motorbike scheme which come up soon after the payday loan scheme if I recall correctly. The forum Petrea used to own was full of people like David. They worked together and I know because I was a friend Of Paul Woody Petrea for some time before I woke up.

Petrea died a few years back, sold the forum to Salty Dog before going to Cambodia.

Anyway I notice your friend David has left so soon I will close this topic but can you ask him why he wants USED PAYPAL accounts he does not own?

Makes a good sausage I heard but not welcome here I'm afraid.
