I think that's the point Jack, many here do shop locally for different reasons but they still need the weekly trip to the supermarket for certain items simply not available locally.

Example would be toiletries - sure, if you're happy to buy a sachet of shampoo you'll get that locally, but a bottle at a reasonable price means the supermarket. Same with deoderant, air freshner canister, detergent etc etc.

I suppose nowadays I do have the option of buying from a local 7/11 but wow, the prices!
