Couple of things missing from the list:

School/university fees

Money for new laptop/phone to stay in touch

Money to pay for a celebration - birthday, wedding etc

Money for the visa assistance company


Maybe we should do up a proforma checklist to play scam bingo with! :hystery:

Unfortunately some scammers are very clever and have a whole library of photos and fake invoices to use. Helped of course by a sucker being born every minute. I can say that I've had a steep learning curve over the 6yrs that I've been here, learning form others I'll add but still got caught out for the odd 100 or so peso here and there.  Worth it in my eyes to sift the wheat from the chaff.
