Headed towards Cebu.  Yesterday it appeared that Dumaguete was smack dab in the middle, but today it looks a bit more Northern.

Typhoon 2000 maps are not updated today.  Windy.com has it rolling through Surigao and Cebu City on Friday.

Stay safe!  We are headed to Mactan on Christmas Day.

The projected storm path shows it going right over our heads here in Moalboal.  I went to the store this morning and on the way I saw four different crews thinning trees.  Not a good sign when the locals start doing that.

Estimated track from Windy.com projection for late Thursday night.  Our worker is putting sand bags on the edge of our metal roof even as I write this post.   Trim trees, put away loose articles, add weight to the roof.  This is what the locals do and they have the experience.

Seems like the eye track keeps moving to the North.

And I hope it keeps moving north.

Unfortunately, Windy.com and typhoon 2000 (5 pm today) both moved it South of Cebu City, and it is moving faster at 22 kph.  You will probably feel the brunt of it late Thursday night.  Batten down the hatches!

You can click on the red typhoons to get the predicted forecast wind speed and zoom in and out for a more accurate trajectory.
