If you don't mind sharing... What AirBnB do you recommend there? I enjoy Bantayan Island and plan to spend some time there this summer if all the madness calms down.

Might be so that it can be checked first before removing. Doc might decide an extra few days is better.

That's where those 'dissolving' stitches come in...like the ones when you have the vasectomy.:smile:

Do they have them here? Not sure if I have ever heard of it here but might be wrong.

You are correct that it should of course be checked but Ive had other stitches checked for infection  then removed here by a  doc from my barangay clinic... was suprised to be told that only a surgeon doc had to remove stitches.

As for dissolving stiches, I actually asked  about them to the nurse who put my stitches in ...she said yes she had heard of them when she did her training in Cebu but they hadnt ever seen any in Bantayan.
