Brace, Brace, Brace, it's not an issue with the plane, just another change that he has to announce. :tiphat:

Good one.

QANTAS pilot in reception at my hotel here overheard me asking where I could obtain a new PCR test at very short notice.  He told me walk-ins were accepted for international travellers and results within 3-4 hours at Sydney airport international departures area.

That's handy to know, how much did they slug you for the test, and can you pay cash or is it card.

If that's the case about tests being done in that short a time, we might leave it until we get to the airport. :cheersty:

I could be wrong but $90 rings a bell for the test, when I saw it advertised.

$79AUD and no earlier than 24 hours prior to departure, have to bring your passport, proof of travel and the receipt (electronic is fine) after you've paid online.  If you can't access a PC they will take bookings by phone.

The site to book it is:

https://www.histopath.com.au/locations/airport

I stand corrected, but in my defence I have to say that while in Gulag Australia for the last 2 years that the cost might as well be $100 because the change is gone.
