Keep going... when its done I beleive its well worth it. although they've diluted its usefulness by requiring annual fees for new card instead of once every 3 years. But still easier than the ACR card route.....at the moment.....

Bargain for ex forces as only $1.5k deposit, $1.4k application then $30 per year.

Sadly no military background here. US$20k in deposit paid and US$ 360 per year.  Darn......:)

It's actually 5yrs from being in your home country without requiring police clearance,

Is that just for a SRRV? It's only six months if you apply for a 13a.

It's a while since I asked... I probably forgot lots of stuff... my bad.

Geoff, with changes happening daily I don’t reckon you will get a strike against your good name. I suspect that the authorities know what is going on from day to day, they probably come into work every morning and spend the first hour looking at what changes were made overnight.

For me it was as part of the SRRV. I was about 2 weeks short but figured with their highly efficient system my 5yrs would be up by the time they opened my application. I'll be 5yrs and 19 days by my next interview.
