Jollygoodfellow Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 Might be of interest to someone from the US. Registering to vote and submitting a ballot is fast, easy, and can be done from anywhere in the world! https://ph.usembassy.gov/message-for-u-s-citizens -voting-in-the-2022-u-s-elections/

Forum Support Mike J Posted January 21, 2022 Forum Support Posted January 21, 2022 My father and mother voted every election without fail. One always voted democrat and the other always voted republican so I am not sure why they didn't just call a truce and stay home. 1

Not sure if they have changed the rules but British citizens living abroad for more than 15 years lose their right to vote. 1

I think the option should always be there if people want to vote. If I recall correctly when I left Australia I sent in some form saying I wont return and it removed me from the voters roll as I did not want to bother with it. I think I got confirmation but memory blurred on this one. If not I dont know how many fines await me
