E bikes are cheap to run, :56da64b24b45d_36_1_501:

They currently do not allow electric scooters and electric bikes in Subic Bay Freeport.  There are some residents lobbying the new chairman to change that.

I just saw something this morning that LTO is headed back to requiring registration of e-scooters and drivers license.  They were going to do it in 2020 but didn't.

OUCH! Sorry to hear that Dave. :boohoo:

Premium was right at $6.00 and I got ~13 gallons or so.

100 GBP in the UK full tank or $122.

Here in Moalboal it would take a person making minimum wage a full days salary to buy a gallon of gas.  Gasoline and diesel are getting more expensive everywhere but the hardship that causes is far greater where poverty is endemic.  This is true even where the poor do not own cars or scooters as the price of public transportation also rises.   Inflation hurts us all to some extent but it is the poor who are really getting hammered.

That was just over half of a tank for me ….. F-350 with a 35 gallon tank that gets between 10 - 11 mpg (city / 7.3 liter engine). Luckily I can write it off as a business expense, but it still hurts.
