Gasoline and diesel are getting more expensive everywhere but the hardship that causes is far greater where poverty is endemic. This is true even where the poor do not own cars or scooters as the price of public transportation also rises. For those of you who don't know what happened, I was robbed yesterday morning at the gas station. I gathered myself together, my hands were still shaking, I was dizzy and I honestly think I was in shock. My money was gone and possibly my dignity. I called the police, they were fantastic and called for medical assistance as my blood pressure was through the roof.
