Assuming the free samples are still the same as decades ago, you will create some fond memories and a new appreciation of Scotch Whiskey. When I did it back in 2001 some were charging a nominal fee, it was a fun but painful couple of days On the upside, I still have a couple of the bottles saved for special occasions. I don't claim to be a whisky expert, but if you want a super smoky single malt with a vanilla finish you have to try Lagavulin Whisky. Best served neat or with just a splash of water. If I can just convince my wife that it is good for your health.

Most West coast Whisky's have a distinct peat taste to them.

I didnt mean to say all of you from Scotland, and Wales are English when we all know according to Filipinos you are Joe from USA. I have not had a drink for a few weeks and as I typed, was so excited thinking about the cask ales when I toured the part of Great Britain called England. One of many mistakes I made that day No worries - just a bit of good natured leg-pulling from your Brit cousins!

I know a lot of people just love 'peat' taste whiskeys but they just don't do anything for me. I'd much rather have a nice bourban :)
