And you and I have seen up close the cesspool that is now the Once great city of Seattle caused by incompetent leadership, which has simply doubled down to make it even worse.  I'll miss the incredible beauty where we live out in the "country", but not the daily occurrence nonsense.   Looking forward to giving the RP a shot once again.

I lived in the Seattle area from 1984-1989 (Silverdale). I loved it there but it seems the political environment has changed so much now.

I had a mild disagreement with my physician landlord and she immediately defaulted to fascist behavior. She knows people she can have be blacklisted. She had no intension of follow thru and she was a good doctor.

That’s when I knew I could never live in a place you could not say what you are thinking. The people are utterly flawed at handling criticism. Lots of both passivity and totalitarian tendencies.

The real reason I left was children's education though.

Now I am home enjoying U.S cultural flaws, surrounded by woman that dress like angry lesbians and paying $35 + tip for a haircut. God has a sense of humor.
