Yes, his North/Midlands accent can be a little difficult if you're not used to it but he's better than many from the same area of England. Interesting. United States has 10 dialects including Louisiana Creole and Ebonics. Japan has several. While visiting Southern Japan, my wife would ask, "Can you speak in standard Japanese?"
