Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok & Macau have been added by Cebu Pacific. Lots of other new internal destinations also now direct. For a traveler, this saves a lot of hassle, time & money going back & forth to Manila & if you jump in quick there are bargains to be had. I got a BKK return for under P7k & Tokyo trip was pretty cheap too. lol, just gotta rely on the airline now, not my favourite... 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I read a month or two ago that the gov was mandating them to do it, and they were fighting it, but I guess they gave up.
