But the US has plenty of corruption, it is just way more expensive than the Philippines. Snowy79 Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Sadly for many there's the public face and the private person. I'm shocked it's not a more common affair here. If we can see what is going on you can bet many locals do also and when life is cheap sometimes being corrupt and earning lots of money only pays off in the short term. I've been watching a locals argument where I live playing out in public view, they are pretty well connected and already had disputes using guns over land grabs.
